A sale changes the price. It does not change whether a chair suits your height, a cabin bag meets your airline's limit or a mattress fits your bed. Those come from the numbers a listing states, and a sale listing is the same listing, with the same gaps. Check them first, then compare prices.

Three checks for any sale listing
- Find the numbers that decide fit for that kind of product (the list below), and check them against yours.
- Treat a missing number as an answer. Paste the listing into the listing checker to see what it leaves out, then ask the seller before you pay.
- Read the warranty and the return policy. Check the item can be returned, and for how long: it is your way out if it does not fit.
What to check, by category
Each finder checks these against your own numbers.
- Chairs: Checked against your height, weight and budget
- Monitors: Minimum size and refresh rate; filter by use, resolution and panel
- Phones: Minimum RAM and battery; filter by platform
- Earbuds: Minimum playback per charge and maximum gaming latency
- Fashion: Filter by who it is for and the kind, within your budget
- Beauty: Size and the printed ingredient list; no claims repeated
- Luggage: Height, empty weight and capacity against your airline limits
- Curtains: Length and width against your door or window; filter by opacity
- Home storage: Width, height and pairs against the space you have
- Mattresses: Length and width against your bed; filter by kind and bed size
- Appliances: Width, height and depth against the space you have; filter by kind and star rating
- TVs: Sharpness at your viewing distance and width against your wall; filter by resolution
- ACs: The room size each listing says it cools, and the indoor unit against your wall
