Office chair under ₹10,000 in India: what the listings don't tell you
If you want an office chair under ₹10,000 and want to know it will fit, my pick is the Green Soul Jupiter Pro (high-back mesh). Of the 14 Flipkart chairs at that price I checked, it is the only one that publishes a seat-height range (48–58 cm), the height it is meant for (152–178 cm) and a weight rating (125 kg). The others leave at least one of those out, so you would be guessing.
This page is not a review. I have not sat in these chairs. It compares what each listing actually states, and it shows the gaps, because at this price the gaps are the story.
What each chair publishes
Flipkart chairs priced at or under ₹10,000 when checked on 1 October 2026. Prices change, so use the listing for the current one.

Out of 14 chairs: 4 state a weight rating, 1 states a seat-height range, and 2 state which heights it suits. Amazon chairs are left out on purpose: Amazon does not let me publish prices copied by hand, so I cannot say which of them are under ₹10,000.
Why the missing numbers matter
A chair that is too high leaves your feet dangling. One that is too low pushes your knees up and your back rounds. A weight rating close to your weight means the gas lift wears out early, and a sagging seat changes how you sit. None of that shows in the photos. If a listing does not state the number, you find out after it arrives.
Read the warranty line too. At this price it is often narrower than it sounds: parts only, buyer pays the courier, or the listing gives two different terms in two places. The finder shows each chair's warranty wording as listed. Where it contradicts itself, ask the seller before you pay.
Check the fit before you buy
- Measure your desk height, then check the chair's seat-height range reaches it with your feet flat.
- Check the weight rating is comfortably above your weight, not at it.
- If the listing gives no seat-height range, treat that as the answer and look at another chair.
Who each chair suits, from the published numbers
Only what each listing states. Skip a chair if you are outside its numbers, or close to its weight rating.
- Green Soul Jupiter Pro (high-back mesh): meant for people 152–178 cm tall, seat adjusts 48–58 cm and rated for 125 kg.
- Vergo Transform Classic (high-back mesh, adjustable lumbar): meant for people 152–178 cm tall and rated for 120 kg. It does not state the seat-height range, so check before buying.
- Fugo high-back PU leather (tilt lock): rated for 150 kg. It does not state who it is meant for and the seat-height range, so check before buying.
- Green Soul Vienna (high-back leatherette, butterfly tilt): rated for 110 kg. It does not state who it is meant for and the seat-height range, so check before buying.
The other 10 chairs publish none of these numbers, so I cannot say who they suit: IAFA Diego (mid-back mesh); Rajpura 802 PP Base (cushioned medium-back, push-back); Green Soul Atom (mid-back, moulded foam); beAAtho Verona (mid-back mesh); Oakcraft Hurricane (high-back mesh, synchro tilt); Astride Ergofit (high-back mesh, 2D headrest); Astride Ergofit BIS Certified (high-back mesh, synchro tilt); Rajpura 802 (cushioned medium-back, push-back); Green Soul Kiev (high-back fabric, rocking tilt); Green Soul Orbit (mid-back mesh, screwless armrest).

What I could not verify
Published specs describe a new chair. I cannot tell you how any of these hold up after a year of daily use, or whether warranty claims are honoured as written. If you own one and can tell me, write to hello@kharidwise.com.
