Chairs for heavier people in India: which ones state a weight rating
If you weigh over about 100 kg, the weight rating is the number to check first, and many listings do not give it. Of the 39 chairs in the catalogue, 24 state a weight rating and 15 do not. The highest stated rating is 150 kg, on 5 chairs.
This page is not a review. I have not sat in these chairs. It lists what each listing states, and says plainly where the listing is silent.
How to read a weight rating
A rating is a ceiling, not a target. A chair used close to its limit wears faster, and a sagging gas lift changes how you sit. So I count a chair as fitting only up to 90% of its rating: a 150 kg rating is comfortable up to 135 kg. The chair finder uses the same rule.
Which chair fits which weight
Chairs in the catalogue that fit, at the 90% margin:

- 120 kg: 5 chairs. See them in the finder

Above 135 kg, no chair in this catalogue states a rating that leaves that margin. A chair built for that weight may exist, but I could not find one that says so.

The other 15 chairs state no weight rating, so I cannot say who they suit. That is not a good sign for anyone near the limit.
What a rating does not tell you
It is the maker's claim, and I have not tested it. It says nothing about seat width or depth, which matter for comfort and which I do not record here. Check the listing for those, and for the warranty wording, which at this price is often narrower than it sounds.
